Strange… I’ve generally gotten a response… their conditions are rarely acceptable.

I am not sure what kind of image it is you are after but if it is a "trademark" image or a "logo" than it would cost a lot more than you think. But if you think you can afford it and really want it then get a lawyer and let him do the work at least you will get your answer if your way is not working. You can also get other images to use from various stock agency’s.
