  • Why do people use celebrity photos as their avatars?

    Please bear in mind I am not criticizing, I am just curious about the reasons.

    so they can make jokes in every sentence.

    For example, some guy was John Lock from Lost, and there was a question: "what would make you the happiest person in the world"

    and he said "to go home".

      I think it’s because some people just wish they could be "like" Someone who They admire… -that somehow the "celebrity" would "rub off" -if they displayed their Image all over the place… I think it’s kind of "odd"- too… But when it comes to People…. -you see ALL Kinds on Here… :)

      Well, I saw mine in a news article. It looked kind of goofy, and I can relate to this facial expression much of the time. Also, I would never put my own face on here.
